Betting Rules
Draft content pending review — not the final, legally binding text.
These General Betting Rules apply to all bets unless a Specific Sport Rule or the Market Information states otherwise. Where they conflict, the more specific rule prevails.
General
- The minimum stake on any single selection is ₹100.
- Minimum and maximum stakes are set by the Company for each selection separately and vary by sport and event. The Company may limit or raise stake or odds limits for particular selections or customers without notice.
- A bet is accepted once it is registered on the server and confirmed online. Registered bets may not be altered or cancelled by the customer.
- Bets are accepted only up to the amount of cleared funds in your account; the stake is debited when the bet is registered and the return credited when it is settled.
- Bets are accepted before the start of an event. A bet placed after an event has started is void, except valid in-play (live) bets, which stand until the end of the match.
- If a bet is settled incorrectly (for example, a result entered in error), it will be recalculated. Bets placed between the erroneous settlement and the recalculation remain valid.
- A bet is void if it is placed on an already-known outcome, or where the customer has deliberately misled staff with false information.
In-play markets
The Company uses reasonable efforts to suspend in-play markets at the start and end of events but does not guarantee suspension at the exact time. Customers are responsible for managing their in-play bets at all times.
Transmissions described as "live" by broadcasters may be delayed or pre-recorded; the extent of any delay may vary. Any missed bets due to a software glitch or maintenance are the customer's responsibility.
Change of venue
- For a team sport: if the scheduled venue changes after a bet is placed, bets are void only if the new venue is a home ground of the original away team.
- For all other categories: if the venue changes after a bet is placed, bets stand.
- A change in the type of playing surface after a bet is placed does not void the bet.
Abandonment, cancellation and postponement
- For a single match or event: if it is not completed within three days of the scheduled completion date, all bets on its markets are void, except bets on markets already unconditionally determined.
- For a tournament or competition: markets are settled on the official ruling of the governing body if given within 90 days of the scheduled completion; otherwise bets are void, except those already determined.
Results and settlement
Markets are settled on the official result of the relevant governing body, regardless of any later disqualification or amendment (except an amendment announced within 24 hours to correct a reporting error).
Where no official result is available, the Company determines the result reasonably using independent sources. The Company may suspend settlement of a market where a result is uncertain, and may void the market if the uncertainty cannot be reasonably resolved.
The Company may settle or part-settle some markets before the official result purely as a customer-service benefit, and reserves the right to amend a settlement made in error or where the official result differs.
Non-runners
Unless stated otherwise, all bets are 'all in, compete or not': if a selection is withdrawn or disqualified before taking part, bets on it are losers. Where a market is specifically 'non-runner no bet', stakes are refunded for a withdrawal before the event.
Fancy / session rules (cricket)
- Once session/fancy bets are completed and settled there is no reversal, even if the match is tied or abandoned.
- If a fancy market is suspended and does not resume, previous bets remain valid and become win/loss (haar/jeet) bets. An incomplete session is cancelled; a complete session is settled.
- If a running match is cancelled, abandoned or has no result but the session is complete, it is still settled. Player runs / fall of wicket are settled at the figures where the match was stopped.
- If a player is retired hurt and one ball is completed after your bet, bets placed until then remain valid.
- Bets deemed suspicious — including bets placed from the stadium or a source at the stadium — may be voided at any time; whether to void a bet or the whole market is at the Company's discretion.
- Any cheating, matching (passing of funds), court-siding, sharpening or commission-making is prohibited; funds in an account caught doing so may be seized, and the Company's decision is final.
- Fluke hunting is prohibited and fluke bets will be reversed. Commentary is an additional facility only; the Company is not responsible for any delay or error in commentary.
Dot-ball market
- Wide ball — not counted.
- No ball — not counted.
- Leg bye — not counted as a dot ball.
- Bye run — not counted as a dot ball.
- Run out on the 1st run — counted as a dot ball; on the 2nd or 3rd run — not counted.
- Out (caught, bowled, stumped or LBW) — counted as a dot ball.
Bookmaker markets
- Where a team gains an advantage or disadvantage for any reason, the Company is not concerned in settlement.
- In an ODI, the higher score after comparing both teams at 25 overs is declared the winner; in a T20, the higher score at 10 overs.
- Penalty runs awarded in a match are not counted when settling.
- In comparison markets, a tie or equal runs across both innings is not considered: the second batting team must surpass the first innings total to win, otherwise the first batting team is the winner.
Irregular bets
The Company may refuse, reject or suspend, without prior notice, any customer suspected of cheating, hacking, manipulating or damaging normal betting operations. Abnormal bets may be voided without notice. The use of automated software or "bots" is strictly forbidden and will lead to account termination and/or voided bets at the Company's discretion.
Integrity and fair play
The Company operates a strict anti-fraud policy covering collusion, multi-accounting, arbitrage, bot automation, and betting by insiders or participants in an event. Where it reasonably suspects match-fixing or a predetermined outcome, the Company may treat a bet as doubtful and suspend settlement pending investigation, and may involve the relevant authorities.
